Hello everybody,
It has been a proper good while sense i / we posted anything on the forums here.
So i guess you can get to know why.
First of development.
The development is still running strong, it's not the fastest due to split in the development crew,
and the biggest problem is the internet on my part ( Norwegian Studio ). It has been running in a state of FUBAR for the past 3 months.
Now the development is still focused on PMC: Warfare. But some of it goes to another called Boops(TBA) Most of the time goes in the writing and research for the time being. Some testing has been done but nothing to report back on.
The development reports will still remain un-posted until 2018.
Other updates.
The webpage is getting a bit of fix every now and then but is down prioritized due to development.
When it is done, it will be more user friendly.
Now we still have our TeamSpeak server. But we have also opened up a Discord server that you can feel free to join. We use that more frequent,
as we can contact you in a more easily fashion there.
Operation: Operation Red Devil In-Game time: Operation start 03:30, Operation end 04:25 Location: Malden Weather: Slightly cloudy with a small breeze.
Objectives
- Shutdown enemy communication site
- Destroy enemy vehicle pool
- Recover enemy intel
Execution
SOG team "Kilo 0-1" was put to the task this operation. Lead by their team leader LT. Walker, and joined by Light machinegunner Sgt. Guillet and UAV operator Sgt. Rydhal.
They took out the Communication site and vehicle pool unnoticed.
The explosion of their vehicles going boom drew their attention and they started searching for "Kilo 0-1". The team was split as Sgt. Guillet took position in the nearby mountain side.
And provided suppressing fire for LT. Walker and Sgt. Rydhal. During the attack / defense Rydhal got hot bad in his chest, puncturing one of his lungs.
After searching 3 different sites they were successful of recovering intel and escaped by boat.
Operation Red Devil will continue as the intel collected had critical information.
Notes
No major events happen, and no medals / ribbons were dealt out in the result of this operation.
This was a joint operation with SOG and SOAW in kick-starting the new campaign "Cyper".
Yermakov owns a small compound on Malden, that at an classified time was raided.
Operation was started by Sgt. Guillet and afterwards lead by Lt. Walker.
With a few scratches on the operators the raid came out positive.
During the raid all enemy forces was executed and their vehicles were destroyed to prevent the HVT to escape.
Special Operations Group, have been trapped in a complex for close to 24 hours. After the area had been destroyed to much due to RPG and gun fire SOG Kilo 1-1 was forced to wander off in the open.
SOAW and a rescue squad was sent out to recover the compromised team. They were forced 3 clicks south of their original position. They were so re-surrounded and eventual rescued by SOAW.
There was several wounded but everyone came home in.. some pieces and alive.
Special Forces
1. Locate and destroy AA turrets located in 3/4 different locations on the island.
2. Assault the main airfield, to allow NATO forces to land.
Special Operations Air Wing
1. Assist special forces with CAS
Execution
SOG team Kilo - 001 lead by Lt. Walker, took out 2 of the AA guns located on Malden.
Right after the destruction of the second AA turret, a major group of enemies assaulted Kilo - 001.
This forced them to take cover in a house. At the same time SOAW pilot Cpl. Guillet was shot down.
This resulted in the operation becoming compromised. Due to SOG's skill in survival. All the focus went to rescuing Cpl. Guillet.
A new operation will be launched as "Operation Clementine II" This will be a rescue operation to get our SOG operators back, and possibly resume the original operation.
Name: Operation Clementine
Terrain Type: Grassy With a lot of hills, ( Maleden 2035 )
Time to complete: 60-120+ min.
Difficulty: Hard
Min Players: 2
Max Players: 30
-Info-
Opposing forces have invaded Malden and taken over main runway, spoted all over the island is Anti-Aircraft radars, this will also means bigger AA or AAA is defending the island.
SOG is inserted to lead this operation, with the posiblity if TAS and SWC joining in on the operation.
The main objectives will be to destroy these radars and AAA guns, then proceed to recapture the runway.
So TFV and NATO forces can land their aircrafts and assist in cleaning up the isalnd and provide aid for civilians.
Reply or PM to sign up for the operation, if you are an infantry man you may also join.
Hey there operators,
So some of you knew why there hasn't been any posts about operations here and some not, let's keep that a mystery for the others.
Regardless operations is still in development. We are putting most focus in the special force operations as we got 20 special operators and 6 Infantry men.
All operations and AAR's will come back to the forum from this day on.
We will eventually do Major operations ( Operations lasting for at least 48 hours )
I don't have to much more info for you guys for this time, but ask any operation related question and i shall answer them.
As of for now i am still running it as a one man show, and i don't want anything rushed.
The progress i have been gotten done is the following,
- Redoing the HUB map ( Didn't like the 1st version )
- Started on weapon modeling
- Started on basic player functions
- Started vehicle research
- Started Terrain research
- Started gear research
- Continuing on the lore
- Continuing work on "Heimdal"
I still got my day job so work is going slow but steady.
I'm planning to bring people in on "White box testing" eventually.
But won't have anything to fancy to show before 2018.
Again the game won't be rushed so it will take time to develop.
SOG team Kilo 001, 002 and 005.
Went today on an Intel run in the mountains of Takistan.
Minimal intel was recovered during the first part of the operation.
The intel was recovered by "Kilo 005"
Hinting towards a "warlord" located in Kunduz, Afghanistan.
"Killo 001" and "Kilo 002" is relocating to Kunduz at the moment.
"Kilo 005" will stay in the mountains and continue the search for additional Intel.
The operation was a success with no damage taken to any operators.
